Dr. Xiaoyan Hu

T.C.M.D., L.Ac. – Edina Clinic

Dr. Xiaoyan Hu studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for 7 years before receiving a Ph.D. in TCM with a specialty in Gynecology and Internal Medicine. She has practiced acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 30 years, 15 of which were spent treating patients in two Chinese hospitals. Dr. Hu previously held a position as the Supervising Doctor of TCM at the Hainan Medical School, and taught TCM theory at Northwestern Health Sciences in Bloomington. Her special areas of expertise include gynecology, nutrition, and pain management.

Dr. Xiaoyan Hu is the founder and owner of the Chinese Acupuncture & Herb Center, established in 1999.

I was in a pretty severe car accident 2 years ago. I had seen seven different doctors before I came to see Dr. Hu, and tried even more treatments – many of them painful or invasive. I was in constant pain, had been told I would never run again (which seemed like a death sentence to a lifelong runner) and had frequent panic attacks and very little sleep. Seeing Dr. Hu has not only given me relief from all of those symptoms, but its also given me hope. Getting regular acupuncture treatments with Dr. Hu has impacted my life more than I can explain. I am filled with gratitude. Mandy

M.Om., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. – Edina Clinic

Cassie Siler received a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences in Bloomington. She is a board certified acupuncturist (L.Ac) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota.

Cassie has experience treating chronic pain from overuse, and acute pain from auto-accident or injury. She enjoys helping people recover from sleep, anxiety, and digestive disorders. Cassie also has experience treating chemical dependency. She provides education to her patients about diet and lifestyle, which improves patient’s health outside of the treatment room.

I still can remember the first day I went to see Cassie. I was feeling so imbalanced: migraines, fatigue, no energy, such a sick person. Another problem that I encountered was conceiving. I have been seeing her for one year as of today. In the first 3 months I was being seen 3 times a week. I was really committed because I was feeling better with lots of energy. The migraines were going away after treatments and staying away during the cold seasons. As time went by I became pregnant in February. I was shocked, because I was trying for 2 years. As speechless as I was, acupuncture has helped me with a lot of things in my life. I highly recommend Cassie. She hasn’t been just a great acupuncturist, but a friend and a counselor to helping you get better. Pa
